A 19th century tortoiseshell veneered and pewter strung sarcophagus shaped tea caddy, with gilt bronze swing handles to the sides, on winged paw feet, the interior with twin compartments flanking a third, later adapted mahogany compartment with hinged cover -- 10¼in. (26.1cm.) wide.
