An Imari two handled ormolu mounted jardiniere, the porcelain painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt with scrolling peonies, irises and flowering grasses alternating with stylised demi-florets, the handles with pendant trophies of flaming torches entwined with urns and scrolling foliage -- 11in. wide, the porcelain circa 1700.
