Two Sèvres-style blue ground plates, painted in colours to the centre with a seated shepherdess and a young lady by a bird cage, both in wooded landscapes withn gilt roundles, the borders reserved with oval-shaped panels and painted with bows suspending flowers below shaped rims, enriched in gilt (slight wear to gilt), gilt and painted marks -- 9¼in. diam.; and a similar deep-blue-ground plate painted with a couple seated by ruins, the border gilt with scrolling foliage --9½in. diam., all late 19th Century
