A Kakiemon hexagonal deep bowl with widely flaring chocolate rim, painted and gilt with alternating panels of prunus, peonies, chrysanthemums and irises, the rim with a band of interlacing flowerheads and leafy tendrils -- 4½in. diam, late 17th Century.
