Two hand-coloured lithographed comic valentine cards with embossed edges one of a man holding a bottle standing behind a table and the other of a man smoking a pipe, verse reads 'You are a nice young man no doubt, For every body sees it Your clothes look flash to swell about, But your dirty pipe, - pray "cheese it"' - 4 x 5½in., circa 1840; and another with embossed scalloped edges with a bobby with a dogs head - 4½ x 7in.
