PAPER DOLL VALENTINE
A home-made hand-coloured cut out paper doll, modelled as cupid holding a wreath of rosebuds and an arrow, with a folded letter on a ribbon around his neck with poem 'Haste chearful Summer!/Time fly fast!/That I wish Jane, may merry be,/The holidays will come at last....'; and a letter from the sender - 5in. high, post marked 1813
