A SCOTTISH POWDER HORN
EARLY 18TH CENTURY

Of flattened cown hronm the broad base with brass plug engraved "RA+ 1747", the point of the horn cut away to form a nozzle, stopper lacking carved to one side with circular motifs and the other with a thistle and the initials IM;
and an English dirk with carved wooden hilt with straight single-edged blade etched with initial R surmounted with a crown, in leather sheath (distressed) with horn handled fork (2)
