A fine early 20th Century model of a single oscillating cylinder stationary engine built by E. Jekyll Esq. Measurements overall -- 18x12½in. (45.7x31.7cm)
With brass cylinder 1¾in. bore x 3in. stroke with separate steamways supported on pierced 'A' frames, square section crankshaft, wooden disc belt pulley and spoked flywheel. Finished in black and polished brightwork and mounted on a simulated brick and stone plinth with brass plate engraved 'Constructed and presented by E. Jekyll Esq. Late Gren.r Guards'
