A finely engineered exhibition standard 3½ gauge model of the C.P.R. 4-8-4 locomotive and tender No.15136 built by A.J.G. Mitchie -- 12 x 73in. (30.5 x 185.5cm)
With braised superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, twin injector, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with piston valves, steam operated draincocks with timimg plugs, Walchaert's valve gear and fluted connecting and coupling rods all of stainless steel, displacement lubricator with appropriate valves, the coupled axles with working leaf springs and compensation links, two injectors and whistle. Further details include cow catcher and bell, laddered footboard, hand irons, fine pipework, easily removable grate and ash pan, glazed cab windows and other details. Tender details include two six wheel bogies with hand operated brake gear, water cocks, hand feed pump, ladders and hand irons and other details. Finished in dark and light grey with white lining and lettering and polished stainless steel fittings. Fitted carrying boxes. Boiler certificate valid to 1.5.1990.
