A 2in. scale model of the Fowler double crank compound, three speed, four shaft Showman's Road Locomotive Reg. No.EH1988 'Princess' -- 26 x 45in. (66 x 114 cm)
With braised copper boiler with fittings including twin water gauges, safety, blower, whistle, water lift, clack and other valves. Engine details include cylinders 1 3/8in. and 2in. bores x 2in. stroke, footplate controlled draincocks, Stephenson's link reverse, ratchet operated lubricator, counterbalanced crankshaft with eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass and disc flywheel. Chassis details include rubber tyred spoked wheels, brass hubcaps, damper, belly and tender tanks with waterlift, suction pipe and rose, belt driven dynamo, lamps, cable drum, fairleads cable, and hook, hand operated brake, safety valve extension pipe, full length canvas covered planked canopy mounted on barley sugar brass supports, extension chimney and other details. Finished in maroon, yellow and black with decorative lining. Firing irons, drawings, boiler certificate dated 20.3.1988
