An unusual large scale steam threshing set built by G. Hunt
Comprising:-

1. A partially complete 4½in:1ft scale model of the Marshall twin crank compound four shaft two speed agricultural traction engine "Challenge" Reg. No. TM4430 of 1911 With welded steel boiler, smoke box and chimney, spoked straked wheels, second, third and fourth shafts, gear train and guard, spud pan, tender, foot board and ladder, cylinder block and spectacle plate, crankshaft with counterbalanced cranks, flywheel and gears, all assembled, and a quantity of machined parts and castings and a full set of drawings, finished in primer
NOTE: THE DRAWINGS WERE PREPARED FROM A LARGE NUMBER OF DIMENSIONED SKETCHES MADE BY G. HUNT AND FROM OTHER SOURCES BY F. PITTAR; THE CASTINGS WERE MADE FROM PATTERNS PREPARED BY G. HUNT, WHO OWNED THE FULL SIZE ENGINE FOR MANY YEARS -- 34x80in. (86.5x203cm) (excluding chimney) and:-

2. A 4in:1ft scale working model of a Marshall Threshing Drum with riveted spoked metal wheels, turning lock, folding side boards, pulley wheels, belts, fan and all necessary internal systems, finished in pink and red -- 42x87in. (106.7x221cm) (excluding 'A' frame) and:-

3. A 4in:1ft scale working model of the Powell Baling Press No.1 with channel section chassis, riveted metal spoked wheels, metal axles, turning lock, draw bar, belt, drive pulley and other details, finished in red and black -- 33x76in. (84x193cm) and:-

4. Two albums of photographs showing the construction of these models
