The Bordé Collection The Bordé family operated as opticians in Paris as opticians and scientific instrument makers from 1856-1991. //their shop was located in Boulevard Haussmann in the 8th arrondissement. Throughout the second-half of the 19th century they were known for their instruments, with many winning awards at several Exhibitions. The following thirty lots represent the remaining shop stock from this period. Most are in un-used condition, many even retaining their original price tags.
