A polychrome sheet-iron concave screen, pierced and painted with scrolling foliage, within a moulded giltwood frame, the panel fitted with a small hinged door, decorated with a crucifix, within further giltwood frame, possibly a confessional screen later adpted to a fire screen, on splayed legs, French, parts 18th century -- 46½in.(118cm.) high.
