Shang dynasty (circa 1600-1100 BC), cast with pictograms,
Of typical waisted cylindrical form, its central section with a pair of taotie masks divided by four equidistant vertical flanges, all similarly repeated below on the spreading circular foot, its upper half with four leaf-like lappets spreading from a horizontal zoomorphic band, the bronze with a pale green patina and some encrusted patches, some restoration,
