A MING CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL MOONFLASK
Incised Jingtai four-character mark and of the period (1450-1456)
One side of the flattened globular body decorated with a fruiting and flowering peach branch, the other side with a fruiting and flowering pomegranate branch, each descending from smaller branches around the cylindrical neck, the flat rim and mouth decorated with a foliate meander, minor pitting and infill
10 5/8 in. (27 cm.) high, wooden stand
