A papier mâché-headed doll,
the black painted hair swept back into a circular plaited bun at the nape, with blue eyes, the kid body with wooden arms and legs with yellow painted slippers and original brown and white printed leaf pattern chintz frock with muslin sleeves and pantalettes -- 8¾in. (22cm.) high, circa 1840 (very slight wear to nose tip, hair rubbed)
