A papier mâché-headed doll
with moulded long black ringlets falling on the shoulders behind the ears, the back swept up into a bun above the nape, the home-made body with contemporary cotton frock printed with trailing coloured flower sprays, large pink boots and underclothes -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, circa 1830s (slight cracking to front shoulder plate, no arms)
