It's 191 pages! We must've cut some.

Lot Essay

Ang Lee directed the 1995 Columbia Pictures production of Jane Austen's classic novel Sense And Sensibility adapted for the screen by Emma Thompson, for which she won an Academy Award, and in which she starred as Elinor Dashwood alongside Kate Winslet as her sister, Marianne Dashwood.

Sense And Sensibility was nominated for six Academy Awards and ten BAFTAs winning three for Best Film, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, Ang Lee also won the David Lean Award for Best Direction
