A PAIR OF LOUIS XV GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS A LA REINE
Mid-18th Century, each stamped TILLIARD, and one stamped DELANOIS
Each with a shaped rectangular padded back within a molded frame surmounted by a central foliate clasp, the outswept arms and loose cushion seat covered in close-nailed crimson velvet, with applied floral damask above a foliate and floral-carved serpentine seat-rail, on cabriole legs headed by floral clasps and toupie feet, one stencilled 28, the other 34, very minor variations in the carving (2)
