A RARE ENAMEL AND GEM-SET "AMERICA" POCKETWATCH
With jewelled lever movement, the openface pocketwatch of circular outline with engine-turned gold dial, blued-steel hands and Arabic numerals, within a lime green guilloche enamelled case, the reverse depicting a New York City harbor scene at sunrise, in the foreground flies a platinum bi-plane set against the chased gold skyline and the Statue of Liberty, accented by a calibré-cut ruby torch, and rose-cut diamond sun, to the greenish blue guilloche enamelled harbor and sky, further enhanced by a calibré-cut sapphire bow, mounted in 18k gold and platinum, circa 1910, with Swiss export mark
