The raised gallery back with inlaid marquetry panels depicting stylised foliage motifs with openwork trellis vertical slat supports above a central leaded and turquoise coloured glass door, flanked by two doors, the sides with further marquetry panels decorated with sinuous organic forms, inlaid with naturalistic marquetry panel and applied with white metal organic sinuous foliage strapwork hinges and with similar lockplates above a shaped two-division undertier, with pierced heart-shaped motifs, on rectangular supports and block feet, the lockplates stamped S & P
