A late 19th century Italian oval micro-mosaic panel depicting the Panthenon, within a marmo nero belgio rectangular panel -- 8½in. x 6¾in. (21.6cm. x 17.2cm.), in a giltwood and gesso frame, the reverse with framer's printed paper label, later inscribed MOSAIC OF PANTHENON, BROUGHT BY R.B.YARDLEY, 1892.
