A pair of Empire bronze and parcel gilt candlesticks, modelled in the in the Antique style in the form of oil lamps, the boat shaped bodies with with central engine milled nozzles with foliate cast covers, the spouts issuing flambeau finials, the acanthine scroll handles with eagle head terminals, on spreading oval socles applied with anthemion motifs, on rectangular marmo verde antico plinths -- 7½in. (19cm.) high.
