A late 17th Century cylindrical caster on a spreading foot applied with a rope-twist frieze, the similarly-decorated cover with bayonet fittings, cut-card decoration and a baluster finial, struck with maker's initials only W.B. within a shaped punch, a star beneath, probably London circa 1680 - 3¼in.
