A Chinese dragon robe (ch'i-fu) of blue silk, embroidered in coloured floss silks and couched gilt threads, with nine dragons among clouds, emblems, floral sprigs and cranes, some worked in Peking knot stitch, over a sea-wave border of gilt threads, with horseshoe cuffs, 19th century (one armhole cut at front and back)
