Lot Essay

The square-shaped body single-expsoure housing was a completely re-designed version of the OLEYO and was produced in 1937. According to Laney it was never listed in a Leitz catalogue or allocated a Leitz code word. Hasbroeck suggests that the device was used in conjunction with the 75mm. f/0.85 Summar lens used to photograph radioscopic screens.
