The f/2.9 mark on the aperture ring was to enable the lens to be used with the new Agfacolor process with the Leitz tricolor filters. The process was abandoned when the Kodachrome process was launch.

A screw-fit 'black-rim' Summar 5cm. f/2 lens no. 324891, the aperture scale with f/2.9 mark and caps.
