A ¾in:1ft scale wood and metal electric-powered model of the Barnett-Stromness type lifeboat 'Plymouth', built by D.R. Hills -- 10 x 42in (25.5 x 106.7 cm)
The hull, of sandwich construction, is fitted with anchors, Samson posts, ventilators, deck rails, companionways, winches, helmsman's and aft cockpits and crew accommodation, grab robes, bilge keels, luffing holes, lifting rudder, twin shafts with three blade propellors (motors removed) and many other details. Finished in R.N.L.I. livery (some old damages, some loose pieces)
