A massive Bakhtiari carpet, the brick-red field with stylised angular palmette and flowerhead vines in an ivory, yellow, indigo, green and camel-brown around diagonal rows of large serrated and hooked pole-medallions, each containing similar floral vines, multicoloured floral spandrels similar surrounded by broad ivory border of stylised serrated palmettes and hooked vine between brick-red flowering vine and zig-zag stripes, repaired --22ft. x 13ft.(670cm. x 396cm.)
