A walnut crossbanded and feather-strung escritoire, the upper part with a moulded cornice and cushion frieze drawer, the fall enclosing a fitted interior with drawers, pigeon holes, secret compartments and central enclosed cupboard, the lower part fitted with three long drawers on bun feet, parts re-veneered, some mouldings later, early 18th century.
