A George III mahogany and line-inlaid secretaire cabinet, the upper part with a moulded cornice and arcaded pendant frieze, fitted with adjustable shelves with two short drawers below and enclosed by a pair of oval panelled doors, the crossbanded fall enclosing a fitted interior, with drawers, pigeon holes and central enclosed compartment flanked by two concealed cupboards, with three long drawers below on outswept bracket feet, some mouldings renewed -- 44in. (112cm.) wide, 24in. (61cm.) deep, 90in. (229cm.) high.
