A Napoleon III kingwood, crossbanded, marquetry and gilt-metal-mounted bibliotheque, decorated with floral and foliate sprays, within boxwood and ebony framed chevron panels, the egg-and-dart moulded arched cornice centred by a ribbon-tied oval Sevres style plaque, enclosed by three brass grille glazed panel doors, between projecting stiles, headed with female masks and trailing foliage on a plinth base -- 110in.
