An ivory tankard with scroll handle, the stepped and gadrooned cover surmounted by a foot soldier, the sides carved in high relief with a scene from the dissolution of the short parlaiment by Charles I, on a spreading foot, German, mid-19th century -- 7in. (17.8cm.) high.
