A famille rose quatrefoil dish with short spreading foot, painted and gilt to the centre with a shaped panel of two female Immortals in a boat among foaming waves within a border of butterflies among scattered fruit and flowersprays, the exterior with a continuous scene of dignitaries, ladies and attendants variously holding cymbals and sprays of flowers all before buildings and rockwork in a fenced garden (two cracks to rim, one chip restored) -- 11in. wide, iron red Daoguang seal mark and of the period.
