An Arita blue and white slender tapering octagonal bottle vase and a later Continental screw top cover chased with floral designs, the porcelain painted with panels of chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork below a band of stiff leaves and geometric motifs to the neck (chip to foot and related hairline crack through foot) -- 15¾in. high, late 17th Century.
