An early pair of Old Sheffield plate gadrooned tapering moulded circular salt cellars on foliate-decorated rising circular bases and with rope-twist bands, the bowls flat-chased with broad friezes of rising stiff foliage, each struck with a maker's mark only, Joseph Hancock probably circa 1765 - 3¾in.
