playing on an abelone and wood, the eyes inlaid in horn -- 1½.in (3.8cm) wide, with signiature Masamitsu; and an ivory netsuke of two smiling puppies, one lying over the other -- 1½.in (3.8cm) long, signed Ransui, (each with an eye missing, age cracks).
