Catherina Giles was an exhibitor with the New English Art Club and the London Group. In 1928 she held a one-woman show of flowerpieces at the Claridge Galleries and she was made an associate of the Society of Tempera Painters in 1939. One of her painted series of the Stations of the Cross survives at the St. Thomas More Church in Seaford. She trained at the Royal Academy Schools and shared a house with the artist, Jessica Dismorr
