in sumi, gofun, colour and gilt on paper, one depicting a lady greeting an official at a gateway, further figures and attendants standing beside a carriage to the side, the other with a group of ladies and officials reading in an interior -- each 9in.x 8¼in. (22.8cm.x 20.9cm.), late 17th/18th Century, (old wear).
