A famille rose rectangular box and hinged cover
painted to the exterior with a quatrefoil panel of a couple drinking in a garden, the sides with sprays of flowers issuing from rockwork, the inside of the lid with a lady standing before a building holding a flower in her right hand -- 2¾in. (9.5cm.) wide, gilt metal mounts, the porcelain 18th Century, (enamel rubbing).
