The movement with outside countwheel striking on a single bell, inscribed Rollin á Paris, 1691, the white enamel dial with blue Roman and black Arabic numerals, inscribed Ellis á Paris, the case cast with trailing foliage and a reclining female in classical attire holding a bird's nest in her right hand, inset below the dial with a Sévres-pattern porcelain rectangular plaque, painted with two birds flanking a nest enclosed by a gilt border on a turquoise ground
