The shaped rectangular serpentine top inlaid with scrolling foliage and engraved portrait masks, with egg-and-dart cast ormolu border and shell-cast clasped angles, the frieze fitted with two drawers and centred by a bearded portrait mask, similarly mounted to the reverse and sides, on slender cabriole supports, headed by female portrait angle brackets stretching to gilt-metal sabots
