A 19th Century silver-mounted ivory lidded tankard
on an oval base chased with flowers, foliage and C-scrolls, with an elaborate eagle and scroll handle and domed hinged cover chased with flowers, foliage and S-scrolls, with baluster finial, the ivory body of oval section carved in relief with a broad frieze of a funeral procession of putti, the mourners supporting a dead putto wearing a wreath of flowers and foliage in his hair and also carrying an urn, the interior gilt-lined - 7¼in.
