gouache heightened with gold on wood panel, each of the nine sections showing the planet personified riding its particular mount across a grassy plain before a lotus filled stream, each identified above in devanagari, outer red ground border painted with flowering vine, and another similar, showing the regents of the ten corners of the world, and a third, showing an elephant shaking a tree on a branche on which sit a black and a white rat, a noble, standing by a pit of snakes reaches up to them, probably Jaipur, second half 18th century - 15 x 10¾in.
