gouache on paper, finely painted showing a carnation and two other pink flowering plants with green foliage, (slight flaking), each with blue and gold floral border reflecting the flower depicted, one with further similar buff borders, India, late 17th/18th century (a few small areas of rubbing and flaking) - largest 6¾ x 4in. (17.3 x 10.2cm.)

The style of the painting would indicate that, though the miniatures were painted in India, they were very possibly done by a Persian artist.
