the former of tapering shaped oval form, with a rising curved spout, polished wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with rounded oblong wood finial, the body bright-cut with flower heads, swags and scrolls and with two cartouches, one engraved with an initial, maker's initials G.B., London 1797 - 6in. (15.25cm.), the plain oval teapot stand on curved bracket feet and with a moulded rim, bright-cut with ears of corn and with a wreath cartouche later-applied with an oval cartouche engraved with an initial, Charles Chesterman, London 1796 - 18oz. gross.
