A Chinese red lacquer rounded square box and cover
carved with a central panels of confronting coiled dragons among clouds above rockwork and breaking waves, within geometric borders and cartouches of precious objects interspersed with flowerheads on a diaper ground -- 7½.in (19.1cm) wide, Qianlong six character mark to the base and four character mark to the interior of cover and of the period, (damages to cover, chips to rims).
