RICHARD WRIGHT OF SANDS
A manuscript Grant of Arms on vellum to Richard Wright of Sands in the County Palatine of Durham, dated 15th February 1815, with his coat-of-arms and the smaller arms of the College of Heralds illuminated at the head, the first line heightened in gilt, signed at the foot by Isaac Heard, Garter Principal King of Arms, and Ralph Bigland Norroy, King of Arms; together with a manuscript document on paper concerning Wright's change of surname, signed: "George P.R.," at the head; and 5 wax seals, all contained in original morocco box stamped in gilt with the royal monogram.
