mounted with foliate cut-brass, the arched case with pagoda top with cockerel finial, with foliate gilt-bronze mounts, glazed panels to the sides, the part-glazed front with amorini and mask mounts revealing similarly decorated interior, the gilt dial with individual white enamel Roman chapters, the twin going barrel movement with Brocot escapement and countwheel strike on bell, the plain backplate stamped O.
