both seated, wearing simple 18th century dress, playing bag-pipes and a lute, at their feet a seated hound and standing sheep above a recumbent goat and sheep, on a rocky-moulded mound base surmounted by a flowering bocage -- 10½in. (26.6cm.) high, circa 1820
